This 3-inch, Class 150 flanged (Wafer/Lug) butterfly valve features a body and disc fully encapsulated with PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy) lining. It is specifically designed for highly corrosive chemicals, high-purity media, and severe service conditions, ensuring absolute isolation of the metal components from the process fluid and achieving bi-directional zero leakage.

  • Full Isolation: The body and disc are completely encapsulated with PFA, eliminating any contact between the metal and the media. Provides superior anti-corrosion performance.
  • Low Torque Operation: The extremely low friction coefficient of the PFA surface, combined with PTFE bearings, results in low operating torque and prevents sticking.
  • Bi-directional Sealing: The spherically machined disc matched with the integrated PFA seat ensures bubble-tight sealing in both directions.
  • Blow-out Proof Stem: Features an integral safety step design, preventing the stem from being ejected under high pressure or differential pressure.
  • Standardized Mounting: The top flange adheres to ISO 5211 standards, allowing direct mounting of various actuators without the need for complex brackets.

  1. Slurry/Media: Avoid media containing hard solid particles, as this may scratch or damage the PFA lining surface.
  2. Installation: Flange bolts must be tightened evenly and symmetrically. The Lug-style design allows for downstream pipe disconnection while the upstream side remains pressurized.
  3. Storage: Valves should be stored in a dry, ventilated indoor environment, slightly open, protected from direct sunlight and any physical impact that could damage the lining.
