This Non-Rising Stem (NRS) globe valve is designed for DN80 (3″) PN40 service. • NRS vs. OS&Y: The Non-Rising Stem (NRS) design is recommended where vertical space is constrained. For applications requiring visual stem position indication, an Open Stem & Yoke (OS&Y) design may be preferred.
• Flow Direction: For optimal shut-off performance, the valve should be installed with pressure under the disc (flow entering below the seat). Verify direction arrow on the valve body.
